Seatbelt Solutions manufactures direct-fit aftermarket seat belts for classic and specialty vehicles, built and tested to comply with FMVSS 209/302 — the same federal safety standards that govern original equipment belts. Every set is made in the USA, matched to the correct webbing color and hardware finish for the application, and engineered to install the way the factory belt did.
Seatbelt Solutions was founded in 2005 by Jeff Biegun, who ran into a problem familiar to a lot of classic car owners: a 1975 Corvette with no working seat belts, and no good source for a correct replacement. After roughly six months of research and development, Jeff had his first product — a direct-fit dual retractable belt set for 1974-77 Corvettes. A major aftermarket Corvette distributor placed an order almost immediately, and what began as a fix for one car became a full manufacturing business.
Two decades later, Seatbelt Solutions manufactures from its own facility in Jupiter, Florida, with additional warehousing in Oceanside, California and Elkhart, Indiana, and now supplies several hundred business partners across the country. The company is part of the American Safety Products USA family and sells exclusively through partners like Factory Interiors rather than direct to the public.
A seat belt is not a part where "close enough" is acceptable — it is the one piece of interior hardware with a job to do in a crash. Seatbelt Solutions builds every belt to meet FMVSS 209/302, the federal standards covering seat belt assembly strength and webbing flammability, with correct color and thread matching rather than the mismatched tones that are common on economy imports.
The company has built its business around a simple position: American-made belts shouldn't cost more than the imported alternative. Building domestically also means faster turnaround, direct quality control, and a manufacturer that can answer real technical questions about its own product — not a reseller reading from someone else's spec sheet.
Factory Interiors carries the Seatbelt Solutions vehicle-specific belt line, including:
Coverage spans classic GM, Ford, and Mopar cars and trucks — including Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Firebird, El Camino, Mustang, Bronco, Jeep, and the full run of classic Chevrolet/GMC and Ford pickups — matched to your vehicle by year, make, and model, in the webbing color your interior calls for.
Every Seatbelt Solutions belt is manufactured and tested to comply with FMVSS 209/302, the same standards original-equipment belts are held to. That matters most with imported economy belts, which can miss those specifications entirely along with basic details like matching thread and webbing color — the kind of shortcuts that show up the first time the belt is actually used.
Factory Interiors is proud to offer the Seatbelt Solutions line, making it easy to find the correct direct-fit seat belt for your classic car or truck.
Our platform is built specifically for automotive restoration, letting you shop by year, make, and model with confidence, so the belt in your cart is the one that actually fits your interior — correct mounting points, correct buckle style, correct color.
Our team understands that a seat belt isn't a part to guess on — and we're here to help you get the right one the first time.
Seatbelt Solutions products are built for owners who want their classic car's belts to fit right, look right, and perform the way a seat belt is supposed to. Whether you're restoring a set of missing Corvette belts, converting a lap-belt-only interior to 3-point, or simply replacing a worn-out original, these belts are made to install cleanly and hold up when it counts.
With two decades in business and a manufacturing philosophy built around American quality at import pricing, Seatbelt Solutions remains a trusted name in classic vehicle safety restoration.
