Features & Benefits
This kit includes the two key pieces needed to restore proper operation: Orange Gear Indicator Improved Light Diffuser Lens (redesigned with a larger aperture to reduce heat buildup and prevent melting) During engineering, dozens of OEM shifter assemblies were disassembled and examined. A recurring issue was excessive heat melting the original diffuser lens. To correct this design flaw, the diffuser in this kit features a widened bulb opening to reduce heat concentration, extending lifespan and improving illumination. This is a brand-new reproduction kit, providing a clean, precise gear display for any automatic-equipped Corvette (C5).
